Holy crap! San Diego was off the hook this year!!! I sat with some of the best pop artists of our generation and I got to meet tons of new people and talked comics the entire time. This is my second year behind the table at SDCC and it was good to see the people who’ve have been keepin’ up with my work come back for more Arsenal action. I feel that my book is still in it’s earliest stages of development even though I’ve been working on it seriously for about 5 years (8 years all together). It’s honestly a true labor of love and I don’t think I’ll ever stop creating it.
I think it’s about time to flex a lil’ muscle in this industry. I’ve been pretty quiet over the years learning, training, growing as an artist. At this year’s SDCC, I caught the attention of some editors at DC comics. You know, Batman, Superman, Watchmen, Hellblazer (aka Constantine), Fables, V for Vendetta, and much more. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
